AceDraft for Teams: Creating an Admin Account and Signing In

This is the front door to AceDraft for Teams, the workspace for a college or training organisation. I haven't watched it run. I read its code on 19 September 2026, and everything below is what the code says. If you're a student or a moderator, you won't create an account here. Your admin invites you, and this page is where you sign in.

Key takeaways

  • Create admin account makes an admin account and nothing else.
  • Sign-in and sign-up both run a verification check, and if its script can't load, the form still submits and the server makes the final decision.
  • Forgot password is two steps: request a code, then choose a new password. A link in the reset email can fill the second step for you.
  • The reset email and each student's invite email both link back to this page.

Prerequisites. A work email address. The page is public, so you can open /enterprise/auth without signing in.

How do I create an admin account?

Start on the Create admin account tab. It asks for your name, a work email and a password. The name needs at least two characters and the password at least eight. Below the button the page says moderators and student users are added later from your dashboard.

The account is created with the enterprise admin role and signs you in straight away. If that email already has an account, the page tells you to try signing in instead. After sign-up, the sensible next stop is the dashboard, which will ask you to set up your organisation.

How do I sign in?

Signing in takes your work email and password. Where you land depends on your role: students go to their resumes, and admins and moderators go to the dashboard. If your batch has expired, a notice appears in the message bar after sign-in, and sign-in still goes ahead.

What is the verification check?

Both the sign-in and sign-up forms carry a Cloudflare Turnstile check. If you press the button before it finishes, the page asks you to complete the verification check. If the check's script never loads, for example because of an ad blocker, nothing is on screen for you to complete, so the form submits anyway and the server makes the call. I think that's the right trade. Otherwise an ad blocker could lock a legitimate admin out of their own workspace, and the server still enforces the check. If a submission is turned down as a failed bot check, the widget resets so you can try again.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, choose Forgot password. Step one asks for your email and sends a reset code. The page's message is worded "If that account exists, a reset code was sent", so it doesn't reveal whether an address has an account. Step two asks for the code and a new password of at least eight characters. When it works you're returned to Sign in with your email already filled in.

The reset email carries a link in the form /enterprise/auth?reset=<code>&email=<address>. Opening it lands you on step two with the code and email filled, so you only choose the password.

What is a magic link?

A link ending in ?magic= and a token signs you in without a password. The server rejects a link that is invalid or already used. Batch invites use these links, and each new student is sent theirs by email. If yours hasn't arrived, ask your admin to resend it.

What is the walkthrough on this page?

A toggle reads "See how a team workspace runs (22-min tour)". It opens automatically on the sign-up tab and stays closed on sign-in. It's a video with chapters covering the admin dashboard, batches, wallets, reviewing resumes, moderators, and the student and moderator views. I haven't watched it. The 22-minute figure is the page's own label.

Who this page is for

Use it if you run placements or training at an institution and you're setting up a workspace: create the admin account here, then the dashboard takes you into organisation setup. Skip the sign-up tab if you're a student or a moderator. You don't make an account yourself, you wait for your admin's invite, and this page is only where you sign in afterwards.
