Cancellation & Refund Policy

AceDraft sells prepaid digital export credits. A credit lets you export a finished resume as a PDF or DOCX file.

• There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. Nothing recurs, so there is nothing to cancel on an ongoing basis.
• Purchases are one-time. Depending on where you are, you are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) or US Dollars (USD). The price and currency are shown to you before you pay.
• Credits are added to your account immediately once payment is confirmed. There is nothing to ship and nothing to return.
• Some credits carry an expiry date and some do not. Where credits expire, the expiry is shown to you before purchase and in your account. Expired credits are not refundable.
• Enterprise organisations buy into a prepaid wallet with its own validity period, which is stated in the enterprise plan at the time of purchase.

Because credits are delivered instantly, there is no waiting period during which an order can be cancelled in transit. If you have bought credits and have not used any of them, you may request cancellation and a full refund within 7 days of the payment date.

We do not charge any cancellation fee.

• If you have used part of what you bought, you may request a partial refund for the unused portion within 7 days of the payment date.
• Where a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your account. If you have already spent more credits than the refund covers, your balance is reduced to zero and no further deduction is made.
• Credits that have already been used to produce and download an export are not refundable, because the service for those credits has been delivered.

Regardless of the periods above, you are entitled to a refund if:

• you were charged but your credits were never added to your account;
• you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
• we are unable to provide the service you paid for; or
• a payment was made from your account without your authorisation.

Tell us as soon as you notice any of these and we will put it right.

• Credits already used for a completed export.
• Credits that have passed their stated expiry date.
• Purchases where the account has been suspended or closed for breach of our Terms & Conditions.
• Dissatisfaction with the outcome of a job application. AceDraft helps you produce a well-structured, ATS-readable resume; it does not and cannot guarantee interviews, shortlisting or any hiring result, and no refund is available on that basis.

Pre-orders and backing tiers are a pre-purchase of software credits, not a donation, and no tax receipt is issued for them. Where a pre-order is refundable, the terms are stated at the point of purchase.

There is no self-service refund button. Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your AceDraft account, with:

• the date and amount of the payment;
• the payment or order reference from your receipt; and
• the reason for your request.

You do not need to send anything back to us.

• We acknowledge every refund request within 24 hours of receiving it.
• We decide the request and tell you the outcome within 7 working days.
• Where a refund is approved, we initiate it with our payment provider within 3 working days of that decision.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once initiated, the money typically reaches you in 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer. That final step is controlled by your bank, not by us.
• Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in. We do not compensate for exchange rate movement between the payment and the refund.

If a purchase that generated a referral reward is refunded, that reward may be cancelled. See the Referral Program Policy.

If you are unhappy with how a refund request was handled, write to the Grievance Officer, AceDraft at [email protected] with "Grievance" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt.

We may update this policy. The version published at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. This policy is governed by the laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in BANGALORE NORTH, Karnataka.
