Referral Program Policy

This Referral Program Policy ("Policy") explains, in practical detail, how the AceDraft Referral Program works — who can take part, what earns a reward, how much that reward is, when it becomes payable, and how it is paid.

This Policy is not a separate agreement. The Partner Program Terms remain the governing terms for the Referral Program, and AceDraft's general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy continue to apply. Where this Policy and the Partner Program Terms differ, the Partner Program Terms prevail.

1. Eligibility

1. You must hold a registered AceDraft account in good standing. A referral link is issued automatically to every account — no application or approval is required to refer.
2. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract and of receiving payment in your own name in your country of residence.
3. Participation is at AceDraft's sole discretion and may be suspended or ended at any time, as set out in the Partner Program Terms.

2. How a referral is attributed to you

1. Your referral link has the form https://acedraft.app/?ref=<your code>. Attribution happens only when a person arrives through that link.
2. Attribution is first-touch: the first referral code recorded on a visitor's device is the one that counts. A later visit through a different referral link does not replace it.
3. The referral code is stored locally on the visitor's own device, not in a server-set tracking cookie. If the visitor clears their browser storage, uses a different device or browser, or blocks local storage, the referral cannot be attributed and no reward can arise. AceDraft cannot recover attribution after the fact.
4. Attribution is completed only when the referred person creates a new AceDraft account. Existing account holders cannot be referred.
5. A referral is recorded with a 30-day window that begins when the link was clicked.
6. A click that is more than 60 days old, or that carries a date in the future, is ignored and creates no referral.
7. Any given email address can be linked to a referrer once, ever. Once bound, it cannot be re-attributed to you or to anyone else.
8. You cannot refer yourself. A signup whose email matches the referring account's email is rejected automatically.

3. What earns a reward

1. A reward arises only when a person you referred makes a paid one-time resume export purchase, and only if that purchase is completed within the 30-day window described above.
2. A signup alone earns nothing. Free usage of AceDraft earns nothing.
3. The purchase must be independently verified with our payment provider before any reward is recorded. Failed, abandoned, unverified or duplicate payments earn nothing.
4. The following do not earn referral rewards: booster pack purchases, enterprise wallet top-ups, lifetime-deal or promotional code redemptions, and any presale or pre-order backing.
5. If the same referred person makes more than one qualifying purchase inside their 30-day window, each qualifying purchase earns its own reward.

4. The reward

1. The referral reward is a flat US$1.00 per qualifying purchase. It is a fixed amount, not a percentage of what the referred person paid.
2. Rewards are recorded and paid in United States Dollars (USD), regardless of the currency in which the referred person paid.
3. A new reward is first recorded as pending. It becomes payable when the referral's 30-day window closes — that is, roughly 30 days from the original link click, not from the date of purchase. Pending rewards are shown in your dashboard totals but cannot be paid out.
4. Rewards do not expire, and there is currently no cap on how much you may earn or how many people you may refer. AceDraft may introduce caps, change the reward amount, or change any other program parameter at any time, as permitted by the Partner Program Terms. Changes apply from the date they take effect and are not applied retrospectively to rewards already recorded as payable.

5. What the person you refer receives

1. The AceDraft Referral Program is currently one-sided. The reward is paid to you, the referrer, only.
2. A person who signs up through your referral link does not presently receive a discount, a free export, or any other benefit by virtue of having used your link. Please do not tell anyone otherwise when sharing your link.
3. If AceDraft later introduces a benefit for referred users, it will be described here before it is offered.

6. Getting paid

1. Before any payout can be made you must save your payout details and accept the Partner Program Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details; payments sent to details you supplied incorrectly cannot be recovered by AceDraft.
2. Payouts are made once your payable balance reaches the published minimum payout threshold, currently US$25.00. Balances below the threshold remain in your account until they reach it. The threshold may be changed.
3. Payouts are reviewed and issued manually by AceDraft and are sent by international bank transfer through our payments partner. There is no automatic or self-service withdrawal, and no fixed payout date or schedule.
4. Currency conversion, intermediary bank charges and any receiving-bank fees are borne by you and may reduce the amount that reaches your account. AceDraft pays the reward amount in USD and is not responsible for exchange rates or third-party transfer charges.
5. If a transfer fails, the rewards it covered are returned to your payable balance so that a further attempt can be made.
6. To query or dispute a payout, use the in-app dispute form available from your payout history.

7. Reversals, refunds and chargebacks

1. A reward is earned on a completed purchase. If the underlying purchase is later refunded, reversed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent, AceDraft may cancel the corresponding reward, or deduct its value from your unpaid balance, at any time before it is paid.
2. AceDraft may also cancel a reward that was recorded in error, or that arose from activity prohibited under this Policy or the Partner Program Terms.
3. Cancelled rewards are removed from your balance and are not payable.

8. Tax

1. Referral rewards are your income. You are solely responsible for declaring them and for paying any tax due in your jurisdiction. AceDraft does not provide tax advice.
2. If you are resident in India, referral rewards may be treated as a benefit or perquisite arising from business or profession under Section 194R of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Where the total value of benefits provided to you exceeds ₹20,000 in a financial year, tax is required to be deducted at source at 10%.
3. AceDraft may therefore require your PAN or other tax identification, and any declaration reasonably needed, before making a payout. Any tax required to be withheld will be deducted from the amount paid to you.
4. AceDraft may withhold a payout until the tax information it reasonably requires has been provided.

9. What is not allowed

The following will result in rewards being cancelled and may result in your removal from the Referral Program and closure of your account, as set out in the malpractice and termination clause of the Partner Program Terms:

1. Referring yourself, or creating accounts on behalf of other people, using additional or disposable email addresses, or otherwise generating referrals that are not genuine.
2. Using bots, automated scripts, click farms, or paying or otherwise incentivising people to click your link or sign up.
3. Cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, or any technique that records a referral without the visitor's knowledge.
4. Unsolicited bulk messaging or spam of any kind, in any channel.
5. Bidding on or using AceDraft's name or trade marks in paid advertising, or presenting yourself as AceDraft, as its employee, or as an official representative.
6. Misrepresenting what AceDraft does, what it costs, or what a referred person receives — including stating or implying that they will receive a discount or free export (see section 5).
7. Sharing your link in a way that breaches the rules of the platform you are posting on, or that omits a disclosure that platform or applicable law requires.

10. Data

1. To operate the program AceDraft records your referral code, the referrals attributed to it, the rewards arising, and — once you supply them — your payout details. Payout details are shared with our payments partner solely to make payment.
2. Your referral dashboard shows limited information about the people you referred so that you can see your earnings. You must not use that information for any purpose other than understanding your own participation.
3. See the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled, retained and deleted, and for your rights over it.

11. Changes, suspension and ending the program

1. AceDraft may change this Policy, change any program parameter, suspend the Referral Program, or end it entirely, at any time. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
2. If the program ends, rewards already recorded as payable will be honoured once they reach the minimum payout threshold, unless they are cancelled under section 7 or 9.
3. You may stop taking part at any time simply by not sharing your link.

12. Governing law

This Policy, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Referral Program, are governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in BANGALORE NORTH, Karnataka.
